God Lights up the Night

2 AM. I was already awake, tossing, nauseous and anxious, when from my nightstand, my iphone chirped an sudden alert, with this unsolicited, but timely message.
FOR A CHILD OF GOD
The saints and mystics
Had a name
For that deep
Inwardness of flame, The height or depth Or ground or goal Which is God's dwelling in the soul
Heaven Because God is there
All day and when
You wake at night
Think of that place Of living light
Yours and within you And aglow
Where only God
And you can go.
None can assail you there
In that place
Save your own evil
Routing grace,
Not even angels See or hear
Nor dark spirits Prowling near. But there are days when watching eyes could guess that you hold
Paradise.
Sometimes the shining
Overflows
And everyone

Around you knows Child has no one ever told you
God is in your soul.
This came in the form of a meditation that I download from a Carmelite Monastery, but this is the first and only one I have ever gotten on email.
Your Graciousness,
Thank you for your Saints who hold us close. I remember that I have family and friends in high places, that I am never alone, but surrounded by a community more generous, intelligent, and powerful than we earthlings can hope to imagine. This heavenly family is skilled in a type of communication that we know not of. Their timing is always perfect…They radiate from His Face day and night, and pour that radiance on to us..as much as we will receive
